One of my first paintings; a self portrait
It all started because…
it became apparent over the years that music and sports were not my talent and that I was maybe just going to have to get by with just my charm. That is when maybe art found me. Having artist in my family; father, sister, son and nephews gave me the confidence to explore this medium for myself. Thank goodness, and ever since I haven’t looked back. My determination grew over the years as I explored and looked for ways to illustrate, using my impressionist style, the many elements and shapes found in nature that may stir this emotion in the casual and serious observer.
